Narrative Strategy

Organizations frequently know what they want to accomplish, but explaining it to diverse audiences can be challenging. I help leadership teams characterize the larger story in ways that people can understand and act upon.

Executive Communications

Speeches, op-eds, thought leadership, white papers, leadership communications and other high-level material. The objective isn't simply to summarize a position or make an argument. The real challenge is to develop language that reflects the executive's voice while enabling various publics to see their stakes in the organization's larger goals.

Complex and High-Risk Subjects

I've spent much of my career getting quickly up to speed on unfamiliar subjects, from artificial intelligence, crypto and global financial markets to pharmaceuticals, energy, telecommunications and aerospace. I research the issue, work with subject-matter experts and translate complexity into language that is straightforward and accessible.
