RALPH COHEN ADVISORY

Step 1
Determine the theme of the speech by reviewing the invitation letter, event brochure, and other materials relating to speaking engagement.
Step 2
Interview the speaker, or people close to speaker, to work out the main points of speech and assess the mindset of the audience.
Step 3
Gather background material through executive interviews and other sources, such as news articles and online services.
Step 4
Provide the client with a half-page outline.
Step 5
Deliver the first draft.
Step 6
Revise the draft as requested. Weave any additions and changes into the natural flow of the narrative.
The entire process takes 1 to 3 weeks. Early advance notice helps, but speeches can be produced in a matter of days if necessary.
“Ralph Cohen has written several successful speeches for our executives. He is a solid professional, both in the quality of his work and in the way he manages the relationship with the client. When you give him an assignment, you can count on him to deliver what you need, when you need it.”
